Good for soothing irritated and sensitive skin, as well as sunburn. After application on the skin, it reduces the feeling of itching from insect bites and unpleasant redness after depilation or shaving. It is used as a face tonic or as an aqueous phase when preparing masks or using skin care oils. Hydrolat is safe for use in children and the elderly.
