Name: Aetheroleum Eucalyptus globulus

Appearance of the plant: It is a perennial tree or shrub, distributed around the world where it is present in humid and tropical regions, as well as in deserts.

Origin: China

The process of obtaining essential oil: Steam distillation of plant leaves.

Chemical composition: 1.8 cineole, limonene, alpha pinene

Oil properties: Golden yellow liquid, lighter than water, strong odor.

Usage: It acts as a mild antiseptic (prevents the development of microorganisms) and expectorant (facilitates expectoration) and rubefacies (causes redness and a feeling of warmth on the skin). Recommended: for diseases of the lungs and respiratory system acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pneumonia…) – for inhalation, for inflammation and pain in muscles and joints – for rubbing into the skin.

Method of application: Topically and by inhalation

Topical application – Rubbing on sore spots, diluting 3-5 drops in 10ml of some base oil

Use in diffusers: Add 2-4 drops to the aroma diffuser. Inhalation in diffusers achieves the best systemic effect and a positive effect on the respiratory organs

Contraindications: pregnant and lactating women, patients with epilepsy, children up to 6 years of age. Undiluted oil is not applied directly to the skin and mucous membranes.
